Welcome to the All Souls Religious Education Program for Children and Youth
All Souls’ Unitarian Universalist Religious Education (RE) program provides a friendly place where children and youth explore and make discoveries as they are guided to develop their own religious identity and beliefs. We strive to create opportunities to awaken souls, deepen questioning, and help appreciate the mysteries of life and the universe. As parents, you are your children’s primary religious educators; and we invite you to become fellow seekers with them.
Our RE program focuses on three main themes: UU identity, World Religions, and Jewish and Christian Heritage. For more information on the specific curriculum for each class, please refer to our yearly brochure.
RE for children and youth is offered during the second (10:45 am) service, and infant and toddler care is available from 8:50 am -to noon. Our high school youth meet following the second service. We greatly appreciate parents registering all children, infant through high school, so we can best plan our classrooms and activities and meet any special needs.
RE Mission: To create a warm and inclusive environment where all participants learn what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist, understand the principles of our faith, and have the opportunity to put those principles into practice.
