The Choir
The ASUUC Choir performs twice a month during Sunday services and for holiday services. If you enjoy music and are interested in learning more about the choir, please contact the church at 633-7717 for more details. Also, the church is always looking for members and friends who enjoy performing music during worship services. Music Director, Leanna Beebe
Leanna has been Music Director at All Souls since 1988. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Voice and Piano. She moved to Germany after graduation and spent five years in the Hochschuele fuer Musik in Frankfurt, where she met her husband, Dennis. They were married in Basel, Switzerland. Upon leaving the music school in Frankfurt, she sang professionally in the German Opera system for two years, until her sons, Erin and Adrian, were born. They all moved back to America and joined All Souls in 1988. Erin and Adrian grew up at All Souls. Leanna has been a Public school music teacher for nearly 20 years and also gives private piano and voice lessons.
     
Keyboardist and Accomanist, Charla McGaugh

All Souls is very blessed to have Charla McGaugh serve as keyboardist and accompanist. Charla joined All Souls in December of 1996. She enjoys being a part of the music team where opportunities abound to play many different kinds of music, from folk and gospel, to classical and jazz. Charla also teaches at the Colorado Springs Conservatory where she has been a piano and flute instructor since 2002. She teaches Intro to Jazz classes and coaches the Beginning and Intermediate Jazz Ensemble classes as well.

Charla is a member of the Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society and plays keyboard with the Colorado Springs Contemporary Jazz Big Band. She plays flute and piano with "High Wheeler," a bluegrass and folk trio. Her newest project is playing piano with a jazz trio called "Tune Town."

Charla has completed two years of Music Education at the University of Kansas and two years as an Associate of Arts major at Pikes Peak Community College. She utilizes her classical background as accompanist, keyboardist, and flautist for All Souls and has performed at weddings, concerts, and parties.
