The All Souls Library contains two free-standing bookshelves holding our Banned Book
collection. This collection was curated from the American Library Association list for
Adults and Young Adults (ages 11-18 yrs). Our Library Committee is responsible for the
maintenance and monitoring of this collection.
We rely upon book donations from our congregation and friends. The listing of books can be accessed here. It is also available in the library. Multiple copies of these books are welcome. If you have donations, please contact the Library Committee.
We have a policy on use of the room and borrowing from the banned books. The policy
can be accessed here. A copy is also posted in the library. No children’s books (children
under the age of 11yrs) are contained in this collection. Any books checked out by youth
are expected to be monitored and discussed between that young adult and their parents
or guardians.
