TRAILHEAD: 38.92491,-104.85684  on Vindicator Drive, just west of Eagleview Middle School. See All Trails for route. If the parking lot is full, park on Bison Ridge Drive across Vindicator from the trailhead.

MEETING PLACE: Trailhead 

HIKE STARTS at:  9:00 am      Please arrive by: 8:45

HIKE DISTANCE:  4 miles

ELEVATION GAIN:  430

HIKING TIME (moving time): about 2 hours

HIKE DIFFICULTY RANGE: moderate due to rolling hills, rocky sections.

HIKE DESCRIPTION:  This city loop trail will take us over rolling hills and through ponderosa forests. There are several overlooks and interesting rock formations. There are many spectacular views of Pike’s Peak and the front range. Poles are strongly recommended. Check the weather forecast before the hike. 

HIKER PREPARATION/EQUIPMENT:  Poles will be helpful due to very rocky trail, and plenty of water. 

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO TRAILHEAD: From I 25, take exit 148 and turn west on Rock Rimmon Blvd. Go 1.6 miles and turn left onto Vindicator Drive. Go .8 miles to the parking lot which is on the left.
