In a nutshell, the Social Media Team is responsible for our online presence. This includes regular posts on Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, YouTube, & TikTok featuring our events, reflection topics, our UU heritage and wider movement, as well as connecting with our partners. This website serves as our foundation.
We meet in person after service on the last Sunday of the month to plan, troubleshoot, delegate and inspire each other. Throughout the month we work independently and collaboratively via Canva, Buffer & email to prepare content.
We are currently looking for help in the following areas:
- Photography and videography: capturing our awesome events to share online
- Digging for treasure: scouring reflection recordings for the perfect soundbite, browsing the feeds for a great share
- Video editing: building an engaging video from the clips and content our treasure-hunter finds
- Community engagement: Want to interview our members, create an art contest or run some polls? Find ways to bring our community into the spotlight and engage everyone through epic content ideas
- Writing: Are you a wordsmith with a penchant for taglines and deep-dives? Oh boy, we could sure use someone like you!
