At All Souls UU, our Director of Religious Exploration, Molly Dewell, creates engaging programming for our youngest congregants. Activities are rooted in our values centered around love. Elementary-aged children gather downstairs in Room 3 and ___. Sessions begin with an opening circle featuring a chalice lighting, introductions, and an engaging Spirit Play story. Afterward, the children can explore and select from a diverse array of activities, such as art projects, puzzles, engaging books, and a meditation tent. The session comes to a close when the children come together for a closing circle before they rejoin their parents at the conclusion of service.

Registration for the 2025–2026 School Year is Open!

https://asuuc.breezechms.com/form/3c43154563

The registration link is here. Please sign your child or youth up at your earliest convenience. We are so excited to have them in our program this year.

Even if you registered last year, you will need to fill out the new form. We update our registration every year so we have the most accurate information. This applies to all ages, from babies in the nursery to high school youth.

Fun Bonus!

While supplies last, each registered kid will get their very own “decorate your own” stuffie. You can choose Pluralism Puppy or their friend Coexistence Cat. At the RE Kick-Off Party, we will have fabric markers available so your child can make their stuffie as colorful, silly, or creative as they want. If you prefer, they can also decorate it at home.

Pluralism Puppy is perfect for pluralism because no two will be exactly the same. Just like in our UU community, we celebrate how each one is unique.

We have an exciting RE year planned, and I’m so glad to have your child(ren) as part of our program!

Upcoming Sundays and Special Event!

  •  This Sunday (October 5th) – Generosity!
It’s the final week of our JETPIG principle series, and we’re celebrating Generosity. Show it off by wearing something that was given to you or something you got for free—you’ll be a walking story of kindness!

Starting October 12 – “Drawing Differences”
We’re thrilled to launch Drawing Differences, an anti-racist art curriculum for elementary RE. This is a special partnership with our Dismantling Racism team, and some of their amazing members will be joining us to help lead sessions this Fall.

‍‍‍ For Parents & Caregivers – “Embrace Race for UU Families” ‍‍‍
Alongside our kids’ programming, we’re also offering Embrace Race for UU Families, a supportive space for parents, caregivers, educators, and other important adults to explore how to talk to kids about race.

    • Sessions will be on Zoom Monday nights from 6-7:30 p.m.: October 13, October 27, and November 10.

    • We’ll also connect in-between through Slack for continued conversation.
Interested? Let Molly Dewell or Yvonne Wu know by October 6 to join in!

Trunk or Treat – October 26
One of our favorite traditions is back (and hopefully with good weather and no snow). After the second service on Sunday, October 26, the parking lot will transform into a festive lineup of decorated trunks handing out candy and prizes.
We need hosts for trunks to make this happen—please sign up if you can help.
