This Valentine’s Day, skip the overbooked restaurants and join us for the 2nd Annual All Souls UU Church Chili Cookoff! On February 14th, our community will gather to crown the masters of the ladle, all while supporting a great cause.
Whether you are a seasoned chef or a professional taste-tester, there is a place for you at the table. We are looking for contestants to enter one of our three signature categories:
- Meating Expectations: For the traditionalists who believe a hearty, meat-filled bowl is the ultimate comfort food.
- Bean There, Done That: For the culinary creatives proving that vegetarian chili can be the star of the show.
- Ring of Fire: For the bold souls who aren't afraid of a little (or a lot) of habanero heat!
Not a cook? Come to eat! Enjoy a flight of chili, vote for your favorites, and enjoy our Valentine's festivities:
- Youth-Made Flowers: Perfect for your Valentine!
- Photo Booth: Capture the memories with fun props.
Support Our Youth: All proceeds from the event directly benefit the All Souls 6th–12th Grade Youth Group. Beyond the chili, you can pick up a beautiful handmade origami flower crafted by our youth or grab your friends for a session in our event photo booth to commemorate the day.
